Before October 7th soldiers in Israel who were on leave were able to leave their army mindset behind. Now they are always on call. Wherever you go in Israel, whether to a mall, a restaurant or even the synagogue every soldier you see, whether on active duty or on a short leave is armed and ready to defend our country.
