45 years ago today, Israeli photographer David Rubinger, captured the scene that became the most famous of the 1967 6-Day War, the liberation of the Western Wall (the Kotel). Mr. Rubinger is still prepared for any photograph that might turn out to be a “classic”, even over a dinner with friends.
