 In 1973, on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish calendar Egypt and Syria jointly attacked Israel. Tonight, while most Jews will quietly be reflecting on the past year, young men and women will be guarding Israel’s borders, such as this one with Egypt. We can never thank them enough.
