OLD DELHI – Chandni Chowk
As described on the Lonely Planet website the Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi is “pure pandemonium”. The city’s most famous shopping strip is snarled by traffic and crammed with stores and people.
And if you think the narrow alleys are crowded, just look up at the jumble of crisscrossing overhead wires.
It’s worth coming for the spectacle as much as the shopping.
