Centred between two harbours and dotted with 48 volcanic cones plus a bordering rainforest, sparkling waters catch the eye and beckon from almost every point in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city.
It has been widely claimed that the population of Auckland own more boats per head of population than in any other city in the world and the harbour is certainly covered with them. It’s easy to see why they call it the City of Sails, it’s the perfect playground for yachties.
