During the festival of Sukkot we are commanded to take four different species and hold them together tightly, representing the unity of the Jewish people. In order to fulfill this commandment in the best possible fashion a great deal of time is spent checking each of the components trying to find those without any flaws. Most important is the Etrog (citron), which has both a pleasant taste and a pleasant aroma, symbolizing one who possesses both the blessings of Torah knowledge and of good deeds.
